The Director's brief was that the 
fifty comedy costumes were to 
look as if they had been made 
or found by the actual Sainsbury's 
staff members: so I designed and 
had made in papier mache a ten-
feet by twelve-feet Dinosaur, 
a cardboard Robot and a Giraffe,
amongst others. I sourced a 
fantastic inflatable octopus. 

Even Jamie Oliver wore some 
chicken legs!
